Yeah, I now see what you're seeing on the festivee site. Wouldn't you know it, yours is the only one mis-subcategorized on the Foreign Films and Documentaries page.
Not fatal, but very misleading, and annoying. Like a stab in the butt.

Yeppers. I wrote a note. But I'm tired of being the guy who complains all the time.

I've heard it quite a few times now, myself. Sadly, not in the original 'Stro' though.

I see what you did there. Crap. I'm becoming too transparent.
So anyway, after reading Greg's Strothemovie post ( http://www.strothemovie.com/2020/08/18/b...CCY7wW8Lwc), I looked into purchasing the Sunday block, since it's the same as just for Stro. Let me tell ya, if Le Samourai were ever to chance on that BIFF site, he'd totally unravel. Far easier to eat a whole whale over tea (at Scotland Yard) than to purchase a block ticket for Sunday.
Still kicking at the tires (made of blubber) on that festivee site.

So I created an account on the festivee site, and I got a welcoming email for a Brad Bucklin, encouraging feedback should there be any problems/ questions.
At the top of the email was an email link to info@BurbankFilmFest.org, only it led to the festivee site itself.
So I just did a reply to Brad's email, and hopefully that's legit.
I didn't mention Stro, by the way, and presented myself as just an ignorant slut. Here's essentially the text:
Quote:Hi Brad.
I just created an account for BIFF and received the welcoming email. You encourage feedback, but the mechanism is unclear. I can see an email address at the top -- info@BurbankFilmFest.org -- but when clicked, it directs to the BIFF festivee site. So I hope this reply to the welcome email works.
From my understanding, one can buy a block ticket for a day for $15, until Sept. 1. If that's true, I suggest you try doing so for Sunday, Sept. 13, as I'm not able to navigate the festivee site to such a result. If I'm simply misinformed about the availability of such a block ticket, my apologies.
later, gary
And so it goes.

And then the BIFF floodgates opened. I got three messages, two of which were the same in the span of an hour from BIFF president, Jeff. He pretty much laid out all the information I hunted for in the morning. He did want to offer me (as in all the participants) a special rate for friends and family which is just the regular early bird discount.
But at least they are trying.

Yay.
Stro: The Michael D'Asaro Story is now listed under documentaries on the BIFF website.

It's a funny old world, isn't it?
Raoul Sudre just left a comment on the Stro website complaining that we didn't talk about the World Masters Championship in the movie.
First off, I'm pretty sure we talked about that event a lot in the movie. Secondly, why the hell didn't we talk to a Raoul Sudre about the tournament? Did we think he was dead? Awkward.

If you kill him, won't be a problem.
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.
