Oh, it's going to be one of those days. The Edmonton Film festival has declined to accept me as well. If there is one thing I know about Edmonton, it ain't no Bend. (Ha! I just understood the DM's gif)

Yay! Another email from BIFF telling me they've extended the deadline for uploading my film until Aug 1. Still no word if I'm actually in the festival.

And while I'm writing this note, I get a reply from Brad saying they are going to announce the features today. Or possibly tomorrow at the latest.

Who are the DOOM gun owners? 

I do NOT own a gun. I own swords and other cold arms. Lots of them. I've never tried to count them. Too many really. I did own a gun once. It was a rifle that my grandfather had built for me. I don't remember the make. It disappeared after he passed along with a lot of his possessions.

4 o'clock. Still no word from BIFF. They have to know at this point. There can't be some last minute film that comes over the transom that they desperately need to have in the program that pushes out another film.

Wednesday's Validation came and went. I spent a lot of time checking the email to see if the BIFF email popped in while I wasn't looking. I figured the glitch was still messing with me.

If I go according to what Brad has told me, today will be the day they announce. And if I go with another thing Brad said, I should have a 90% chance of getting in.

Here is how think it will play out. They will announce today, but I will not get the email because of the glitch. Why send the email to someone who already has the email........

I will email Brad tomorrow who will inform me of the results.

Sort of Validation. I reached out to the Lift-Off Festival people who had accepted Stro for their online festival about the conflict I had between their festival and Warsaw. They have agreed to let me be in their next online festival when that occurs. No date scheduled yet. I guess that's a win.

BIFF has said yes. They will screen Stro as part of their online festival. I need to have the film uploaded by tomorrow which will be a trick considering the upload speeds here and their spottiness.

I am now waiting on the site that will be hosting the BIFF, Festivee, to get a link to get this process started.

Don't tell anyone until I have posted this news in all the usual places.
