What DM giffed.

You gave them an address in Nevada, yes?

Could you have warned her off with the worsening Coronavirus situation there?

I tried that, KB. She was adamant about coming.

So...  Is this a grit-your-teeth-and-bear-it occasion?  Or is there the silver lining of a family get-together, of showing what you've done with the place, or just the morbid fascination of watching a trainwreck?

If only it were going to be that scenic.

On the other hand, it will bleed off some the pressure.

The stand down order is given. The crisis incident has passed.

It went well. Since it was my mother's birthday I didn't growl at her as much. Plus, she's very subdued. Her eyesight and hearing are poor so she can't engage as much with those around her. My Godson, Jordan was in a bit of mood the entire they were here. The family came. I showed off the house. We ate food. We ate cake. I took pictures of Jasmyne the graduate and they left.

tQ then disinfected the house.

Well, that was disappointing.

So as not to sully the purity of the Stro thread with mentions of mother, I'm posting this here.

Basically, the fact my film is in film festivals is causing my mother to lose her mind. And if she does lose her mind, she is definitely driving my sister Roberta crazy.

I figured after the first festival she'd be done, but no. She was very upset not to see my interview at Boston. She invited seven friends over to watch the film on the computer. She's not getting the part about the pandemic. She calls me every day if I don't yell at her not to. It's a great barrel of fun.

She is in deep in the FOMO circle.

What a buzzkill.

I gave up on showing my mom any online stuff I do years ago. She just doesn't get the interwebz.
