Happy Validation Day to me!
Yep, another Film Festival will let me know today if I am worthy or not. And since I didn't make a film on the Space Station or have Greta in my film, I have my doubts. This post could have a lot more wallowing if I wrote down the thoughts I had during this morning's dog walk. My crankiness goes to 11. It helps a lot that my google calendar of the festivals sends out notifications and that those notifications are sent to my watch. I've gotten about 5 messages this morning telling me that today's is the day! Suffice it to say, I am waiting on you, Valley Film Festival.

Ha! Validation day has been pushed to Monday. I'm glad I checked the Film Freeway website to find the change in the notification date.

My blue balls in regards to the Valley Film Festival just got bluer. They've pushed the notification date back to June 18. However, this time I did get an email announcing the change in dates. It's probably just a coincidence that I sent a letter to Filmfreeway asking why letters weren't sent out when a festival changed the date.
There was an even an explanation given for the push back. They have a notice out to the Laemmle theater where the event will take place and they won't hear back from them until Monday... Grrrrrrr.

Also, the first rule of Warsaw IFF is we don't talk about the Warsaw IFF. No official announcements have been made yet and they want to keep it that way.

Another validation day. I'm supposed to hear from the Valley Film Festival today. Will they or won't they want me. Today I find out.
Valley as in San Fernando Valley.
