A strange live play from Eric Idle with a top notch cast - Tim Curry, Tracey Ullmann, Billy Connolly, Eddie Izzard. Russell Brand is out of his league. It's performed like a radio show with the sound effects man playing a major role and the cast reading from scripts, occassionally cracking up as if this was the first time they've seen their lines (perhaps it was). Packed with naughty double entendres and occasional references to previous work like the Spanish Inquisition and Great! Scott!, along with a lot of quick witted Pythonesque references, Idle's lyricism shines it the musical ditties. Not perfect, but it has its moments.
