If I was awake reading until 3:30am, am I allowed to post here?
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

Wow, that's kind of borderline.
Depends on what you were reading,
and whether you're  intending to review it.

Oh hell no. anyone can post at 3:30am. Look here - I'm doing it after a solo festie run. 3:30 ain't nuttin. Start your own puny 3:30 thread is you wanna do that.

Dang my circadian rhythm is messed up, shaken apart by massive doses of bass. My entire body is still vibrating with the echoes.

Now is the time to post on this thread. 4:20. Duh.
Welcome to the post fest tweak

Well, here I am.  Just finished a brisk mile or so walk starting about 4:10.  Now 4:55.

Not certain I like this club much.  Not even certain I really qualify, since my insomnia is toothache-assisted.

It appears to be one of those non-dental toothaches that wanders around and of course vanishes entirely when your dentist appointment rolls around.  The dentist, bless her heart, told me, "If it comes back, you know where to find me."

Yeah, but will she be able to find the problem?

Comes and goes, and when it comes, it's an impressive bugger.  Three weeks on this yo-yo now.  Could be an expensive one to track down.

Good night.

On second thought, good morning.

Do you have any sinus problems at the moment? Sometimes that can effect the nerves in your teeth.

No, no sinus problems.  Been mighty lucky in that department.  Though I did notice a slight runny nose during one of these joyrides a couple nights ago and wondered about it -- until I realized my eyes were watering up from the sheer ache, which will give you a runny nose.

Could be TMJ (temporomandibular joint dysfunction), which my sister has suffered from, and Lady Cranefly at one time in the past.  My molars show clear evidence of teeth grinding, but I suspect those days are long past.  Not as neurotic as I used to be.  Still, TMJ remains a possibility.

It could still be a dying molar.  The crazy way the nerves are laid out around the teeth (thanks, Obama), pain can manifest anywhere top or bottom on one side (you seldom have migrating pain that crosses the center divide).

Could be the heart, but absolutely no other symptoms (tiredness, shortness of breath, chest or arm pain).  Also, if the ache changes when you reorient your head or breathe in cold air, etc., it's very unlikely to be the heart; and mine changes.  Thank goodness for that or I might get bored.

I originally envisioned posting here whenever I was awake at 4:20, but it turns out that if I'm awake at 4:20, I'm usually trying really hard to get back to sleep because I have to get up in an hour and a half or so, and looking at my phone then tends to wake me up too much to get back to sleep.

I had a horrible night last night.  Gave up on the election around midnight.  Could not quiet that brain circus.  And those few moments when I did sleep, I had horrible nightmares.
