One review I read started out, "Michael Douglas is sleeping with the wrong woman again." That pretty much covers it. This time it's the President's wife.

I saw this with my mom and sister. It seemed a safe choice. The movie isn't bad, but it feels very familiar. The story advances by means of logic holes. The sharp-eyed assassin somehow misses a clean shot on Douglas. SHould've ended there. When everyone is given lie-detector tests, no one bothers to confirm that "everyone" means "everyone." I call that cheating the thoughtful viewer.

Again, not a bad movie. Just pretty run-of-the-mill.

The one bright spot was the President, played by Sledgehammer.
"It's Sledgehammer!" I shouted to my mom and sister soon into the movie. "The President is Sledgehammer!"

They shushed me for the sake of the other 3 people in attendance (a Saturday matinee), and after the movie I was horrified to discover that they had no idea what I was talking about.

Trust me. I know what I'm doing.
I'm nobody's pony.
