It's the story of a man and his neighbors dog. The man, Ryan, is played by Elijah Wood. A man trying to commit suicide. He's written the fourth draft of the suicide note and printed it out already. Wilfred is played by Jason Gann who did the same show in Australia. Why is the dog played by Jason Gann? Well, to everyone else in the world, Wilfred looks just like a dog. To Ryan, Wilfred looks like a man in a dog suit, but still has all the dog impulses. Part of the fun is watching Ryan watch Wilfred react wtih other people. The Girls think he's a dog, so it's okay for Wilfred to nuzzle their boobs. But Ryan sees the man in the dog suit doing this. It's funnier than I can write it.
Wilfred is trying to help Ryan who is on a bit of a downward spiral. I guess that's what the suicide note meant. But Wiflfred isn't going about it in a nice way. Check it out.

If Wilfred and Norm of Cheers had a bastard child, it would be this.
More furry bong smoking, and if that's not a euphemism for something, it should be.
No redeeming qualities whatsoever, not even a hint of a sword fight or bollywood number. Even Flash Gordon can't save this - he only turns it into a racist travesty. I fastforwarded to see if Mila gets nekkid. She doesn't.

I don't expect to like this, but I have to see the beginning, so I can see Ralph Garman's performance. (He plays Mark Wahlburg's father.)
Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I was going to trade it back at our local used store, but I'd be happy to pass it along.
It is painfully bad. PAINFULLY BAD. And I am amused by MacFarland's humor...sometimes. Why so obsessed with Garman?

Ralph is the voice guy on the KROQ morning show. And should have been the next to be springboarded out to Stardom. Or at least that is what could be percolating around in his head. And it makes him kind of bitter. The KROQ show has produced Jimmy Kimmel, Adam Corolla, and Money the Sports Guy. And if you were the guy that was hired after all of them, you would think that your chance of stardom would be pretty good. But it just hasn't happened. He does voice work on the Family Guy, he has a popular podcast he does withe Kevin Smith and he has appeared in a few movies.
One of the movies that was supposed to be another big break and garner him national attention was the Pacino/McCounaghy movie 'One for the Money' He had big role during filming but most of his scenes were cut for the theatrical release.
It makes for angry bitter radio that is quite funny.
We support Ralph when we can.

Well, thankfully, his scene as the dad is right up at the beginning, so you won't have to sit through the rest of this travesty. And his overreaction was kinda funny, arguably the only funny thing about the film.

How could the highest grossing R-rated film be this bad. Did I miss something? Am I the wrong demographic. Did it hurt that I don't care for the Family Guy?

And I'll watch Family Guy if there's nothing else on sometimes. It's puzzling.

Had to see it. I liked the Family Guys Star Wars episode. But a few too many bodily function jokes for my taste.

I wouldn't say I'm a fan of Family Guy at all. I'll watch it over The Office, which is all that's on sometimes in between headline news and late night talk shows.
