Catch and Kill by Ronan Farrow
#1
Hey, Harvey Weinstein is a monster and NBC helped in the cover up.

I pretty much knew the Weinstein stories but I didn't realize how hard NBC worked to kill Farrow's reporting on this story and how it ultimately cost him his job at the network. Some of the other work related sex scandals in the entertainment industry are covered but the focus is Weinstein and how the story died at NBC and ended up at the New Yorker.

Farrow talks about his own struggles and personal complications in getting the story. He talks about the Private Investigation Companies that helped Weinstein and followed him around.

It's a good read. A bit long.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

I read the initial article in my annual Best Magazine stories compilation which I read every year to remind myself why I'm not getting no Pulitzer.  It was depressing and I doubt I could've gotten through an entire book on the subject.
