Local Jonah Kim took on Dvorak’s cello concerto.
This was planned as a Valentine’s gift. Stacy set me up with a tub and wellness treatment at her spa. But with her recent illness and my recent situation with my mom & work, we almost didn’t make it. Fortunately she recovered just enough, just in time. I did the treatment, which was a good break and I’m sure I fell asleep on the table. We had dinner at shogun (healthy portions) and enjoyed the show.
The 2nd performance was Rachmaninov symphonic dances, but we bailed. Neither of us were that into it and we felt it best to conserve for the week ahead.
