It was fine. If you didn't have the first Incredibles to compare it to, you would probably have a really good film. But you do so it isn't.
A lot of the themes seem to be just faint echoes of the first film. There is one scene that I really enjoyed and I wish there was more of that.
So, yeah. No rush to see this one.

That was a solid sequel. You were just threatened by the female forwardness of it, Greg. My immediate family is all female so I’m fine with that.
Okay, actually I don’t remember the first one that well. What more do you want from a superhero pixar cartoon?
I did take your advice and not rush to see it. It was probably good in 3D.
Which was the one scene that amused you exactly?

that was good
for the record, i called the mcguffin from the beginning. i just wasn't sure which sib it was.
i did like the concept of screenslaver - there was just a smidgeon of social commentary there.

I've watched it a couple of times since my first viewing and it has grown on me. But it still pales in comparison to Incredibles 1. That film had much more to say. I especially am in-tune with the "If we are all special, then no one is special"
The beauty of the DVD was the night of Jack-Jack with Edna. That fleshed that out quite a bit. (One of Scapino's kids has the name Jack-Jack. They gave it to him before the movie or never made the connection)

That's funny about Scapino. He probably sees himself like Mr. Incredible.
For me, this franchise is all about Sam Muthafeckin Jackson. It's always all about him. If he ever got together with Danny Trejo and Jackie Chan for a film, that would be the hub on thousands of 7 degrees of Kevin Bacon answers.
I liked Void in I2. She reminded me of some of the Kung Fu fanboys I get occasionally. Only my KF fanboys aren't kinda cute goth chicks. If only. The are BOYS, usually slightly out of shape, and poorly dressed.

Saw this the other night. I had low expectations and enjoyed it. But Greg is right, the first is much better. Both this and the original had a great look. Like DM, I saw the McGuffin, but I picked the right sib, given away by her saying her parents would have been alive if they hadn't tried to call the supers.
