Picked this up at the library sale to sell at the used bookstore and decided to read it first. And it was great.
An out-of-work graphic/web designer gets a job at a used bookstore in San Francisco, but (of course) everything is not as it seems. I don't really want to say much more so that if you read it you will come to it fresh like I did. Moves pretty quick and I thought well written. Characters were pretty good. I was afraid that he was going to build up for some earth-shattering change at the end that he couldn't deliver (like The Diamond Age) but he deftly avoided that and I was very satisfied with the ending.
This was his debut novel, so he might be someone to watch.
