Since this was a strictly Muay Thai event, there wasn't a lot to do for the mag. I was there at the request of one of the fighters, Jenna, a friend who does a lot of promoting of the mag. Cranefly joined me. Doom bros at Saturday night fights. What fun. We got to wince and chuckle with hard shots and both agreed that it was good of all the competitors to endure such a beating just for our entertainment.
There were 18 bouts: 2 were MMA, 4 were women, 4 were title bouts and 3 were pro. The house was standing room only. Most of the bouts went the distance. The two MMA bouts were 1st round submissions. Four TKO's and one KO. Jenna stopped her opponent, in round three. Her opponent was cute, a long legged blonde in odd black tutu shorts, but afterward, her face looked like raw hamburger. Jenna battered her with punches to the face, successfully defending her Muay Thai belt. There was blood all over the ring later.
