It was mostly modern post-Mao stuff, different for the Asian which tends to dwell on historic items. The exhibit is very good - thought provoking. It's worth your attention if you're interested in global economics or modern China.

I've never been to Shanghai beyond the airport, but that is one of the most spectacular airports in the world.
