This was the first all-female Muay Thai fight card in California. 12 fights, all amateur. 3 were for CA title belts and 1, the main card, was for Featherweight World Champion (for this league). The undercard bouts were 3 rounds of 3 mins. The CA titles were 4 rounds. The main, 5 rounds. On that main card was Jenna Castillo, an old friend. I got to say that there are few things more exciting then watching a friend step in the ring. She rocked, dominating the entire fight. She would mix it up with enough rope-a-dope moves to disguise some straight blasts and uppercuts to the head, closing the gap every time. By the end of the 1st round, her opponent was staring blankly down at her (she had 6" on Jenna!), totally red faced from the brutal face shots that kept penetrating her guard. By round 4, Jenna delivered a spanking kick to her opponent's right leg and it was over. Her opponent didn't go down, to her credit, but you could see the pain on her face. She was done. Jenna gave me a Team Jenna shirt, which I wore proudly on Monday.

This thread is useless without pics. Of Ms. Jenna, not your t-shirt.

That works.
Who knew they were still holding events at Kezar stadium. Isn't that an outdoor arena?
So much for the flickr badge idea. Dammit

The indoor hall is under major restoration. It's a funky old building slightly northeast of the football field.

Kezar is as DM has said. The M-Team* often holds a big annual tournament there. It is one run-down building.
