Rented it as it's not available yet. ($20!! But that's cheaper than going out to the movies...)

Beautiful film. Great cinematography, lighting, sets, costumes...

Joaquin doesn't sell the (Bone)part. I've forgotten enough French history that I was hoping the film would enlighten me a bit and give some insight as to how Napoleon managed to get so many behind him. To learn about how his strategic prowess developed and know what inspired him...instead, we get a scene and some dialog and then a new scene and some dialog and it doesn't really tell that story I wanted.  

Lots of swords and bayonets. Canons, too. 

No Abba song was used...

Too rich for my blood. I was hoping to see this for free on AppleTV before my subscription runs out. But it doesn't look like it will get to the free level on Apple any time soon.
