Just got the season 1 DVD from NetFlix. I'd seen most of these, but had missed some. Dare I say genius? At least it's damn funny and wonderfully irreverent and/or tasteless. Even a martial arts battle in a retirement home, including the move where the hero swings around a staff, running/kicking a circle of enemies. Plus it's 15 minute segments, so you don't have to commit a block of time. Perfect for on-the-go DOOMers.

Fowl humpor aside, I go with "genius". It is really, really funny. If someone went with the "crap" option, they are probably too young to get most of the jokes (which are aimed at people our age or just a little younger) or they didn't wach enough of that there Tee-Vee when they were growing up.

At least a few. I didn't see any pirates on disc one, unless you count Captain Crunch.

I'm almost finished with Robot Chicken and I've enjoyed it immensily. What a find! The superhero stuff is the best - Superman being and asshole to Aquaman, Wonder Woman making moves on Catwoman, Batman stealing away to drink - loved it. Also the hasbeen HeMan, Thundercats, et.al. and the villains Skeletor, Lex Luthor et.al. stuck in commute traffic. Great zombie humor too.
As for Capt. Crunch, he was not a pirate. There was a villain who opposed Crunch, Pirate LaFeet, in the cereal serial, so Crunch doesn't count. In all fairness, there was a quick cut of some pirates, one of those channel surfing gags, with a pirate having a ship's wheel in his crotch. I totally forgot the pun punchline, but it was funny at the time.
Is there a season 2 coming?

It is still going on, I think. Just watched a "Highlander" spoof that pitted all of the current teen girl stars against each other. As Lindsey Lohan sez: "there can be only one!"
Great stuff, Maynard!

According to this interview:
http://www.adultswim.com/shows/robotchic...index.html
They are scheduled to do twenty episodes for the second season.
Funny to think that of all the cast from Buffy, the Vampire Slayer, Seth Green is the only one who still has much of a career - and his only screen appearance is his action figure.

The final episode had a surf cut to Ass Pirates of the Carribean. 'nuf said.
I finished the DVD last night. Overall very enjoyable. Just when the later episodes started to wane - enough with the fart and barf jokes (but the nut shots can keep coming) - the big brother horror house was hilarious.

is not "wow"ing me as much as season one. More crudity, less cleverness. Seems like Seth Green is not as involved as he was. Maybe he is doing more Family Guy stuff.
Yup, his character and Dr. Evil made the Austin Powers movies for me.

I spotted this over on the Star Wars site (I am not a Geek!)(They had the trailer for the new Clone Wars cartoon) I had to watch after I saw the George Lucas on therapist couch talking about it.
