This reunites Adam West, Burt Ward and Julie Newmar (or at least their voices) in an animated homage to the 60s TV show, the real Batman, the best Batman. There are a lot of shout outs to the original show, in style, in the ubiquitous alliteration, the biff! baf! boom! fight balloons, the tone of the humor. Adam and Julie sound older, but still have moments of character. Burt is timeless. Lots of in jokes. I just wish the animation was better. It started out kind of dumb, then had a decent plot twist and got tongue-in-cheek funny with a few updated jokes and plays on the old show. More than anything though, it made me want to see the old show. Not particularly recommended. If you want Batman anime, go for Batman Ninja.
