Squaring the Circle: The Story of Hipgnosis
#1
This was entertaining. Hipgnosis did a bunch of really famous album covers (most notably Dark Side of the Moon, see more in this Rolling Stone Article). I didn't know who they were or that they did so many really iconic album covers. Various famous musicians show up. There's a great bit about doing the cover for Pink Floyd's Animals. Some great stuff about how they did certain images.

Recommended.

Hadn't heard of this one. Intriguing. I'll pop it in the queue. Thanks.

I thought I'd reviewed that in the past...I thought it was funny that the main Hipgnosis guy kept trying to recycle ideas to each band as "new". I've heard that story from a bunch of different sources. The Led Zeppelin cover for Presence was initially offered to Genesis (I think for Lamb Lies Down on Broadway).
