Adam Sandler plays a lizard living his life in a terrarium in a fifth grade class. Sandler gets to do what he thinks is a funny voice for the lizard. At the urging of the director, Robert Smigel on The Late Show, the Queen and I chose to give it a whirl. We chose poorly. We stopped at the Sandler's first song because that was just too much.

I caught Smigel on one of the late night shows (Colbert?) and he said that he worked with several folks that did TV Funhouse with on SNL. It almost made me watch, but I really can't take Sandler. Thanks!

Sandler was a dealbreaker for me. But thanks for reaffirming my assumptions.
