I saw this at Recycle and picked it up because I'd never seen it before, and it turns out I hadn't seen it before because it wasn't very good. Perhaps if I were interested in Joyce, specifically Finnegan's Wake, I would feel differently, since there are three long pieces in the book about that. The rest are pieces originally published in The Realist and elsewhere. The pieces covered territory he'd covered elsewhere in his work. Skip this one.
