Disney+ also has all the National Geographic catalog as well as Pixar, MCU, and Start Wars. In our quest to find something to watch on Saturday night, tQ and I stumbled across this series that explores cities of the ancient world. I opted for the Petra episode because we had been there and I wanted to learn more about this enigmatic city. tQ and I visited on a whirlwind tour during our honeymoon. It was a one day trip where we got to spend probably two or three hours in the city. It was worth it and it wasn't worth it as this documentary ably proves.
They showed tons of building and features we never even knew existed and were just as impressive as anything we saw. The show does do a very good job of explaining how everything was built which was the big mystery for me. And even though they explained it, I still can't see how they did it.
The show covers five distinct and amazing buildings. And it just shows that I need to go back. It also occurs to me that I should maybe stop watching travel shows during the lockdown. It's not helping
