Still Laugh-In: The Stars celebrate (Netflix)
#1
Oh, boy. I loved Laugh-In as a kid. At least I think I did. So, when this popped up on Netflix I thought it was a great chance to revisit it. Well, if they had just spend the hour showing the best clips from the show, I would have enjoyed it much more.

Instead, C-Level stars of today spent the majority of the show putting their own spin on classic Laugh-In bits. They tried desperately to be funny and fell far short of the mark. And if they weren't shuffling towards humor, they were hitting me over the head with unsubtle political comedy. We get it. Trump is a terrible president.

I'm trying to remember some bits that were even a tad funny, but I can't.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

The original show is on either Netflix or Amazon streaming (I can’t tell the apart). I watched the first show and it was surprisingly edgy, given the time. Some aspects didn’t age well, but it was mostly enjoyable.
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

That was a show I wanted to watch, but my parents hated it. We sometimes saw the hillbilly version (Hee Haw).
