Death Race 4: Beyond Anarchy
#1
Every once in a while an artist is asked to update a stale franchise. Don Michael Paul (Director), Paul Anderson (writer - the Resident Evil movies) did a Meridian Quad level job in taking a burnt-out reboot of a Roger Corman film and making it fresh again.

Danny Trejo AND Danny Glover are in it so you know it must rock.

This time around the Death Race has become a religion for the inmates of the whatever prison/city ruled by Frankenstein.

Anyhoo - explosions, breasts, gore etc., but the lighting, cinematography, acting, fight choreography is on point.

It's a great 'bad' movie. I had a lot of fun watching it.

Now we’re talkin’!
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

What a mess of a movie, all over the place with plot, acting, dialog, etc.

I give it two out of five stars.

...

The thing is, those are binary stars, orbited by a horde of planets, some of them Earth-like and in the Goldilocks zone, with traces of methane suggestive of life.

Hmmm.  Instead of all this blather, I could have just said craptastic.

Vocabulary building is very important.
I'm nobody's pony.
