After watching The Midnight After, I decided to watch After Midnight (aka Naked After Midnight) for an odd mirrored double feature.
Tawny Kitaen is the big draw here, though she only has a bit part. She runs a seedy strip club where one of the pole dancers gets murdered. The sister of the victim decides to investigate by becoming a pole dancer there.
Weak in almost every way. Bad acting, no cussing, lots of talking, too many flashbacks... And then there's all the pole-dancing by a parade of ample ladies showing most of their all. Okay pole-dancing, I guess, though nothing sensational, and it gets repetitious. The same three dudes are always at the edge of the stage, throwing bills indiscriminately, which I found charming in a ridiculous way.
A waste of time, really. I should be ashamed.
P.S. I wondered if this was the director's only film, based on how bad it is. Wrong. He's made something like 175 films. What can I say?

I'm nobody's pony.
