A friend sent me a link to this NPR Tiny Desk Concert a while ago:

I thought the music was interesting. A little like Bulgarian Women's Choir/Georgian folk singing, but I also liked the instrumentation. Layers of fairly simple parts. Wikipedia lists the genre as "Ethno-chaos"...

Right before I left for Europe, I saw they were coming to town a couple of days after our return, so I bought two tickets. My GF bailed, so I went with a friend. There was no opened. They came out and played for a little over an hour. Some of the material in the video above and some I hadn't heard before. They've dropped the wedding dresses for some that are a little more colorful, with wild patterns. The songs were often playful. They even did a hip-hop-ish song which was pretty funny.

Great show. I'd recommend seeing them if you get a chance.

I heard them on NPR and really liked them.
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.
