Back in Time (2015)

Ostensibly, it's a documentary about the making of Back to the Future. There are interviews with the cast and creators of the film. They show footage of Eric Stolz as Marty. There is some good stuff, not great, but good.

But then, about halfway through, they decided to talk about the fans and I completely lost interest. There is a lot of talk about the Delorean and how people were making them into their own time machines. That bit went on forever. I completely lost interest when they showed a screening of the movie in Australia where the promoters had built their own Hill Valley town complete with bad clock tower.

I turned it off. If you do need to see the Eric Stolz footage, I would recommend shutting the film off when you get to the Fan chapter.

Not so much dumb as dull. Still a 'd' word though.

I was half thinking about watching this. I'm not a big fan of Stolz so I feel no need to see this now.
