The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (1964 - 1968)

Dee Dee and her sisters were huge fans of this show. I had never seen an episode so I borrowed season 1 and watched them all. They aren't terrible but they don't have the charm and wit of The Avengers. It's also incredibly sexist. I know it was the '60s and 'Mad Men' and whatever but damn, women are portrayed as pretty props to be used, made fun of, and discarded. The only redeeming factor is the guest stars. From William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy (in the same episode even) to Werner Klemperer and Cesar Romero. If season 2 isn't any better I'll probably bail on trying to watch the entire run.

In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.
