What can I say? I'm a closet metalhead.
I first discovered Red Fang from a guitar-based video game 'Band Fusion'. You use a real guitar to pluck strings to songs like this:

Which made me click on this:

Which made me laugh so I decided to see them live. It turns out they were touring with a couple of other metal bands "In Flames" and "Opeth" so I ordered tickets and invited my metal-loving friend Alan to the show.
I guessed the show would start at 8PM and we arrived around 7:30. As it turned out Red Fang went on at 6:30PM. Fuhhhhh....
Anyway, In Flames and Opeth were amazingling great. In Flames captured the energy of Metallica and Opeth channeled Iron Maiden with melody, epic arrangement and opera-quality vocals (when the singer wasn't channeling demonic growling).
We had a great time and I actually shelled out for an 'In Flames' t-shirt.
