Michael Cera is on top of my list of actors I want to punch in the face. I'm sure I've said this before here. But he was on Fallon last week and very funny, so I figured I'd netflix this. I could totally relate to every character in the film as I've met them all on Dead tour. That part was spot on. Cera was playing a prick and that totally worked. But then, for the payout - the hallucination scene - the film totally bails out. It's shown from the external point of view, still spot on in the way the actors portrayed the trip, but not trippy. More like observing trippers. Where's the fun in that? Now I want to punch Michael Cera in the face even more.
