The Documentary covers everything from the early years until 2006, directed by Peter Bogdonovich.
A very straight ahead documentary of the band. I've always liked them but stopped following them probably around the time of Wildflowers. The documentary covers all the ins and outs of the band but in a somewhat cursory fashion. The early years are very detailed, what comes later not so much.
I got the feeling watching this that I might have seen an abbreviated version of this film on VH1.
My only complaint is that it stops in 2006, which at this point was eight years and several albums ago. It would have been nice to see a little bit about Mudcrutch reuniting for an album.
