I'm thoroughly enjoying this. A light history of six beverages: beer, wine, distilled spirits (mostly focusing on rum), coffee, tea and cola. I've only gotten up to spirits. We'll see how the later chapters are.

I got this great ancient Egyptian proverb: "The mouth of the contented man is filled with beer."
