ED the Lurker

Hi All,

I just wanted to explain my relative quiet these past few months.

My father passed away recently. He had been sick with prostate cancer for months and I have been traveling to my parents house in Vacaville several times a week.

This of course made work into constant crunch-time since I was not at the office 5 days a week and had to resolve lots of issues in very short periods. The fact that I was constantly waiting for 'that call' didn't help much.

This also meant that chores around the house were de-prioritized for months.

I am just now starting to de-stress and will once again post my witty and insightful observances of the human condition.

Meanwhile carry on. I still read everyone's posts.

I had been wondering where you had gotten off to. I'm sorry for the circumstances.
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

You had alerted us that this was happening.

I have some good memories of your dad. He was always very cordial to me. Sorry for your loss. How is your mom doing?

So very sorry for your loss, ED.
Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
