As one reviewer noted, "It's the same scene about a hundred times. Hey look, he's getting younger" I did spend quite a bit of time wondering how they were digitally mapping Brad Pitt's face onto the various bodies. I also wonderd why he borrowed the batman voice for a lot of his dialogue.
All in all, though, it's a good film. There were some downright funny scenes. There were some sad scenes. The word that best describes the film for me is lyrical. The film just meanders around without any real extreme highs or lows and then about three hours later it ends. The acting is all good. The settings are all nice. Once you know what's going on which happens about a millisecond into the film, there are no surprises. Basically, it's a backward love story between a man and a woman.
