Ghost Town
#1
A fluffy merengue of a romantic comedy. One reviewer called it the The Sixth Sleepless in Seattle Sense. Ricky Gervais can see dead people. Comedy ensues.

Greg Kinnear plays the Ghost haunting Ricky. Tea Leoni plays the ex-wife of the ghost. Some bits are funny. Some are touching. And Ricky learns a valuable lesson in the end.

Much like people wanted Jet and Jackie to be in a film together, I'd like to start the push for Simon Pegg and Ricky Gervais to be in a movie together, sooner rather than later.
So much for the flickr badge idea. Dammit

My two cents - I loved this movie. Yes, it was formula. Yes, it was standard Ricky Gervais. Yes, it was exactly what you thought it was going to be with no twists or turns or particularly original take on anything. Who gives a damn? It was sweet, it was fun, it was funny, it was wonderfully awkward. I really enjoyed it. Perfect way to spend a couple of hours not working. Smile
Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
