Watchmen didn't change my world the way Frank Miller's the Dark Knight did. But we'll see. Anything for a good flick. But top marks to the trailer.

I'll tolerate omissions and consolidations for the sake of running time, but if they change the ending (like they did with 'V for Vendetta'), I'm going to be angry.
I was praying to Zeus that this would be a 12-part HBO mini-series. Without the comic-within-a-comic pirate story it will be meaningless anyway. As long as it's well-directed I'll enjoy it. The book will always be better though. Always. This is a really good site for a panel-by-panel analysis of the book: The Annotated Watchmen

And I think it was ED that turned me on to it. Thanks for that.
Truth be told, I'm getting a little tired of comic book movies. But here's the official website. I love the bloodspot loading timer. http://watchmenmovie.warnerbros.com/

The Dark Knight starts (for me) in two days. I'm looking forward to it immensely. I'm springing for the IMAX event. After that, I'll probably be done with the comic book heroes until of course Heroes returns.
