Our friend got tickets for Shannon's birthday. They added a 3rd GF, and I joined as DD. We packed a picnic, skipped the opener and tailgated before the show. It was a beautiful, not too hot summer night in the Saratoga hills. I had read that Cake is working on a new album, so I was expecting they might be trying some of that out, but no, just the hits. lots of hits. So much fun! The singer had the audience eating out of his hand. Music was tight and great...
It was long enough ago that I forgot what they played, but I found the setlist online:

As they always do, in the middle of the show, they gave away a tree as part of the Cake forest initiative. See the forest here: https://www.cakemusic.com/forest-2019-20

PS: while this pre-dates the Jane's Addiction reunion tour, I have to note that no band members punched each other!
