The Rainbow Killer
#1
The latest issue of the British magazine Crimewave (called Crimewave 9 -- Transgressions) just came out, and it has my story "The Rainbow Killer" in it. The only way to get the issue is by subscribing for four issues, which costs 60 bucks. Yes, that's insane.

If you're interested in reading the story, I just put it up on my web site. This link should take you to it.

Be forewarned. I use some very bad words in it.
Oh, and Barbie puts in an appearance.

I though Barbie Benton had retired from short fiction to devote herself to Haikus and epic poems?
So much for the flickr badge idea. Dammit

No, you're thinking of Lindsay Lohan, mistress of the well-turned-over phrase (like an SUV flipping on the berm). Last I heard, she'd signed a deal to ghostwrite Bush's memoirs.
She signed with an X.

OK, so I'm being cold-hearted. She's young. She's naive.
She's working her way up to haiku-length projects.

She's underage and yet she's already in rehab. Who says we make allowances for the famous?

She can't hold a candle to Drew Barrymore as far as underage drinking and drugs. We'll have to wait and see if she goes the Drew Barrymore route or the Natasha Lyonne route.
