Well damn.
I can't watch it unless I enroll in a cable provider. Doesn't seem to be any other way to watch the new stuff. We signed into Reelz on Amazon Prime but it's only select previously telecast programs, none of the Unknown Story series. Couldn't find it on any other of the providers outside of those. Sling is $41 now, no free trial. That's the only streamer. The rest are all Direct, Dish, Spectrum, U-Verse, Xfinity. Man, after this and the Thursday fail, I'm on a losing streak... I probably didn't even make the final cut. Having a sad...

And I have seen it. Writer Michael Kaiman was good. DM was good. It falls off after that. Lots of pop influencers and third tier comics giving their take on the movie. Ron Thomas who played Bobby is the only cast member to appear. One easy way to tell the bad people was that they were shot against a green screen and a weird colored backdrop was added in post. With the exception of Ron Thomas who got the colored back drop but still had some good stories, like having to fake he didn't know karate when the show started but was actual a 2nd degree black belt.
Most of it covered the casting and story development. There was some on the actual shooting and then the final was all the sequels it spawned and finally a promo basically for Cobra Kai. DM is in it about five times. Happy to seem him right at the top in two segments. Then he goes away for a long time while we listen to the happy talk chatter boxes earn their daily rate. He comes to talk about the fight scenes and who doubled Miyagi for some scenes. I was hoping DM would get the final pitch for the movie but no. It was some dumb influencer talking about the cultural impact of sweep the leg. I may be over hating, but that's my brand. The best part was seeing DM on my TV.

Someday I hope to see this.
Someday. It’s beginning to remind me of when I wrote a piece for a hardcore Japanese porn mag on iron crotch. They found me and requested the piece. It was the most I’ve ever made writing but I never found that issue. I found the mag in porn shops. And they sent the check promptly which I cashed immediately. It had me combing porn shops for a few months until I gave up. It’s the even remember the title of that mad now.

Doesn't the Cub have friends with mad skillz who could get you a copy? Plus, things never go away from the Reelz channel.

Don’t know. Don’t think so.
If only I knew a video wizard who made movies and documentaries… We subscribed to REELZ via Amazon prime for a few minutes just to see but they didn’t even carry the unknown story series so we quickly bailed (free trial). My mom has xfinity so I’ll check the schedule for repeats and hope it times out. I didn’t let her know because it would’ve been an ordeal to explain over the phone and I wasn’t even sure if I made the cut. Thanks for watching and confirming I was included. I don’t remember what I said at all. Honestly I have a stronger memory of meeting with the yeti beforehand then the interview itself. It’s also reminding me of the Man at Arms experience. It’s impossible to find those episodes anymore. I only have access to a rogue vid on DailyMotion in Spanish. Never found the German or Hindi versions. Wish they made a dvd. TV work is weird. I’m hoping this surfaces on my IMDb.

You can add it to your imdb. I do that all the time.

Don't you need IMDb Pro for that? I don't even have Direct TV...
It doesn't look like Karate Kid The Unknown Story even exists in IMDb.

Maybe you are living in a dream?
You don't need IMDB Pro to edit the pages. You just go to the page for the show and add a credit. It's then reviewed for accuracy. If it's accurate. It's posted. I'm basically the one who filled out my IMDB page so people would know what I've done. But a producer for the show does need to start an IMDB page for the actual show to link to. You really need to talk to the producers. The ball they have has been dropped.

Living in a dream? More like a nightmare.
Ya know, I tried to sort my IMDb a while back and I couldn't budge it. Perhaps that has changed. All the Reelz shows are pretty odd. So many documentaries on music, TV, and film. None of them seemed worth watching...except for this one, of course.
