Loch Ness (2017)
#1
A 6-ep ITV series about a monster at Loch Ness.  But it's not Nessie.  It's a serial killer.  We're halfway through.  It's got a lot of characters and a lot of the Scottish men look alike, plus the accents get a little impenetrable at the end of some lines because of the colloqialisms - there was a great one about being piggy in the middle between a claymore and some other object.  Enjoyable if you like UK murder mysteries. Lots of panoramic shots of the Loch.  Downtown factor 1 - Miss O'Brian as the DCI.  No swordfights  so far (although gotta give crew for the claymore name drop).  No haggis either, PPFY, cuz I know you're wonderin.

Feckin mail never came.  Sometimes our postman delivers late, but not this late.  I hope he's okay.  Majorly bummed.

We were expecting disc 2 so we could watch it tonight.  Now we'll have to wait until Monday.

The mail was delivered today.  On Sunday.  This covid zone is crazy.

Popcorn made.   Ready to dive in and solve these murders.

I was trying last night to watch Onward which was put up Disney+. I think most of the country had the same idea.

6 and done.  It was a very satisfying Scottish murder mystery. I guessed it just a little prior to the reveal, which is always makes me happy because I feel clever enough to guess it correctly, but it kept me in suspense until then. It was overly complex with lots of red herrings, but it made up for that with great panoramic shots of lush Loch Ness and O'Brian was really good in it. All the characters were well drawn.

No sword fights. Some stabbing. Recommended for DOOMers who like Scottish murder mysteries and have 6 hours to kill.
