I hate to bump Legbone from the top, but I'm having a sad for a different reason today.
One half of the Kevin and Bean morning show duo, Bean, is leaving the show after thirty years and moving to England to pursue new ventures. I've been listening to this show since the early nineties. For a long time, I wouldn't go a day without listening to the show. Even now, I listen to the podcasts on a regular basis. I think some of this stems from Bean having a mental health crisis earlier this year where he was out for almost a month.
But today at 10am, that all comes to an end.
The show will continue with just Kevin and two other people that are part of the team, Jensen Karp and Allie McKay, but it won't be the same show. There have been times when either Kevin or Bean were on vacation and they hosted solo and it was always a better version with just Bean.
It's not a major disruption of the force but it's a another small piece of my life that is ending.
