Lost Word
#1
For about a week, maybe longer, I've been struggling to recall a word. I know I know the word. It just won't come up in my brain when I seek it. Yes, in about a millisecond, I could find the word on line. But it should be in my head, readily available.

It's the word for the coating that goes on a nail or screw to prevent it from rusting when it is used outside. In some instances it is called hot-dipped. But that's not the word I seek. It begins with a C. The word that usually comes up in it's place is corrugated. But that is definitely not the right word.

The burning question is how long do I scratch my brain before I give in and just google it? I'll feel better about myself if I can just remember it.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

This is what happens to me every time I take the damned Jeopardy test. I know what it is, but my brain gets stuck on something similar and I can’t spit it out. But I keep taking the damned test because one of these days, who knows, maybe they’ll invite me back for a chance to humiliate myself on TV.
Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
