Netflix has launched a series of short documentaries to explain things. How they choose the topics, I have no idea, but it looks eclectic. Everything from Weed to the Exclamation Point to Cryptocurrency. They all seem to be about fifteen minutes long which means there isn't a big investment in time to get some feeling about the subject.

Last night I dipped into the one about Cricket since I've always wondered about Cricket. And it was a good concise about the game and where it stands now. It is narrated by Asif Manvi of Daily Show fame and he does a really good job. You got the rules and the history and where the game is now.

It's quite good and I'm looking forward to seeing other episodes.

There’s a cricket field in Ortega park, behind my mom’s house now, part of the Indiafication of s’vale. My mom says it’s part of the oldest cricket club in the western US. Sometimes there’s games when I visit. Weird sport.

Greg - if you’re getting into it, you might watch Lagaan - Good cricket Bollywood flick.

Yeah, no. I watch enough really crappy sports without adding in cricket. Never mind watching a Bollywood version of said crappy sport. I was just curious about the rules and now that curiosity has been sated. I can continue on with my life.

But if you want to talk about Hurling, well, then.
