Match Point
#1
This was an interesting film. To some extent, it covered similar ground as Crimes and Misdemeanors, but here the protagonist (Jonathan Rhys-Myers, whose slightly odd look was very good for it) was remorseless. It was actually a thriller, if you use the term loosely. As it progressed, I waited for things to fall apart, then for something terrible to happen. The film had kind of a creepy feeling to it. I thought it was a bit of a departure for Mr. Allen in that sense and also since it took place in London. Alas no nudity from Scarlett Johansen.
