The three are Louis Koo as the hard ass cop, Chung Hon Leung as the perp with the bullet in his skull and my fav peepers in the biz, Vicky Zhao Wei. Directed by that master of HK gangster mayhem, Johnnie To, it's classic gangsters-hit-a-hospital ultravi. A bit long winded with typical subplot tangents, the the climax is a spectacular swirling slow-mo single shot (digitally stitched) that pays out in full. There's a silly epilogue dangling cliffhanger from bedsheets and a firehose but after the climax, it wasn't needed. Just skip to when stuff starts blowing up.

When you have ginormous peepers like Vicky, you can still delivery a solid acting performance from behind a surgical mask.
