It was 90+ degrees and we were on vacation, so we went to see this in the Cinemark 16 on Shoreline. The theater was nice, with recliners and reserved seating.
I had low expectations so I was quite pleased. It was entertaining and not big on giving a lesson. It looked good and there were some funny bits.
The previews were for things that mostly looked terrible, particularly one where Kevin Spacey is a real estate tycoon and bad parent, so Christopher Walken turns him into a cat, and he can only become himself again by loving his family, and he's their pet. Or something. Weren't those two serious actors once?
There was a stand-up in the lobby for a remake of Ben-Hur! I am curious about that. I love the original.
