The Office (US)

I watched all of the U.K. series, then, I watched all of the US series, a lot of that in semi-real time, but when Steve Carrell left, I stopped and didn't watch the rest. I've been catching up over the last few weeks on Netflix. The last season had some ups and downs. They introduced some new regulars and some interim bosses played by some big names (Will Farrell, James Spader), I wasn't sure if the writers would pull it together, but they did. The last couple of episodes were really well done. Touching, sad...like the MASH finale. It made me cry. I feel I'm going to miss these people. 

Strange that the show ended three years ago.

I watched The Office on and off, and only saw a few of the original UK shows. I watched the U.S. finale when it was aired, but it didn't impact me that much because I wasn't overly attached to the show.

Parks & Rec was weirder for me.  I remember seeing the premiere and then seeing the finale.  I guess there were a few seasons in between.  Again, it didn't impact me that much.
