I can't believe that no one has mentioned this. And I include myself, because I've seen it several times. Catching a few minutes of it recently made me think of posting.
The story is pretty basic (from a comic): alternative reality where humans are in an endless war with vampires. The humans find/train the priests, who are great vampire fighters, and win. But not quite....
It looked good and had pretty good action. I thought sort of a City of Lost Children (also one of my faves) kind of feel in the city scenes. There was a fairly unique religion/guilt aspect to it that I thought was clever. And I thought the male lead was good. Plus a cameo by Christopher Plummer.
