I'm going to bet that DM has not seen this Bollywood project.
SyFy Wrote:A few years ago, a former editor I'd worked for asked me to have an obituary in the hopper just in case Stan Lee suddenly died. Lee must have not gotten the memo that he might be at death's door, though, since he's not only still hitting conventions, appearing in Marvel movies and making online videos, he's still expanding the seemingly endless Stan Lee empire.
The latest addition to Lee's repertoire? Bollywood. Unsurprisingly, Lee's Bollywood debut will center around Raju Rai, an Indian superhero he created in 2011 who, incidentally, already has an animated series on Cartoon Network India. Rai is a tech genius living in Mumbai who defends the city with a power suit that can convert chakras into superpowers.
The live-action version of Rai will be an older take on the character, and production is tentatively set to begin in late 2015. As yet, no lead has been cast, although Lee says, "We've set up some great meetings already with some of the most amazingly talented actors and directors in Indian cinema, and I have no doubt that these individuals will help make the Chakra film a massive hit in India and around the globe."
Of course, right now there's a more pressing concern -- is Stan Lee taking dance lessons? Because it would be a huge waste for him to skip out on his classic Stan Lee cameo in something as cool and fun as a Bollywood flick.
So much for the flickr badge idea. Dammit
