A pretty good film. Wes Anderson has a unique style and it is on display here again. Ralph Fiennes is great as the Budapest's concierge. The film is more about his character than it is about an actual story.
The film is littered with good actors from Jeff Goldblum to Willem Dafoe and many in between. The film is quirky and reminded me a lot of Moonrise Kingdom.
It was good even on a plane's back seat.

It was very amusing. I thought of you a lot Greg, because it had great set pieces. Lots of fun cameos (I

Saoirse). Funny, not laugh out loud funny, but chuckle under your breath funny. Another writer's perspective, which I do get and am still slightly annoyed by. Loved overall the look and feel of the film. I was entertained. Could have used a swordfight tho.

I enjoyed this film but didn't think it was quite so Oscar-worthy. Go figure.
Can't wait to see Brody opposite Jackie Chan in Dragon Blade.

Isn't John Cusack in Dragon Blade as well?

As if you know who Siwon is...(neither do I beyond what I've read)
John wasn't at the Oscars, or if he was, he was in the back. But I did post about that too here - viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2458
